After a crying 8-month-old Enita Salubi approached her napping, live-in nanny, the woman allegedly force fed the baby until she couldn't breath.
A Maryland woman was charged in the death of an 8-month-old baby girl she was hired to take care of, allegedly force-feeding the infant until she couldn’t breathe, authorities said.
Oluremi Oyindasola, 66, was napping when little Enita Salubi approached the woman in her toddler walker at about 3:30 p.m. Monday, footage captured by a surveillance system in the little girl’s Glenarden home reportedly showed.
Oyindasola woke and tried to feed the crying child. After her attempts to get Enita to eat were unsuccessful, she "proceeded to pour a large amount of white liquid directly inside the victim's mouth,” according to charging documents obtained by the Associated Press.

Oyindasola then allegedly force-fed the baby a second bottle, police said.
Little Enita squirmed and struggled for 25 seconds before becoming unresponsive, but it took 20 minutes for her live-in nanny to do anything, according to WJLA.
Oyindasola called the baby’s father, who called 911 on his way home.
Enita was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead at about 4:10 p.m., Prince George's County Police said.
An autopsy revealed the baby died of asphyxiation, authorities said.
Oyindasola was charged with second-degree murder and first-degree child abuse resulting in death, cops said.
She is being held at Prince George’s County Detention Center on $1 million bond.
