Dani Mathers posted an image of the nude woman in the locker room on Snapchat in July with the caption: "If I can't unsee this then you can't either."
If convicted, Mathers could face up to six months in jail.
Her attorney, Tom Mesereau, said in a statement to Inside Edition: “I’m very disappointed that Dani Mathers was charged with any violation. She never tried to invade anyone’s privacy and never tried to break the law.”
As she faced backlash for posting the image, Mathers apologized for taking it, saying, “it was absolutely wrong and not what I meant to do.”
In the wake of the Snapchat scandal, Mathers was fired from her regular radio gig at KLOS-FM 95.5 on “The Heidi and Frank Show” and banned for life from all 800-plus L.A. Fitness facilities across America.
