Charlie Sheen is facing backlash for appearing to downplay his troubles that has people asking if he's sincere about his rehab efforts. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.
Charlie Sheen is at it again. He paid a visit to the firefighters who took him to the hospital after that epic bender three weeks ago.
Sheen arrived dressed up in firefighter garb with bearing gifts such as Swiss Army style knives.
Sheen's firehouse excursion comes as he faces harsh criticism for downplaying his problems in two radio interviews.
"I said, 'Stay away from the crack.' Which I think is pretty good advice unless you can manage it socially, Dan. If you can manage it socially then go for it. But not a lot of people can, you know," Sheen said on The Dan Patrick Radio Show.
Sheen is also facing flak for telling Patrick that he's not particularly interested in being sober and says, "I was sober for five years a long time ago and was just bored out of my tree and decided this is who I am."
Addiction experts warn that given his attitude, the actor could fall off the wagon again.
"He's not interested in recovery. He just wants to test clean and get back to work for a while. Collect his millions and then go home and party," says Howard Samuels, addiction expert, on the Today show.
In one of his calls to The Dan Patrick Radio Show, Sheen had this warning for the producers of his hit show, Two and Half Men: "I heal pretty quickly but I also unravel pretty quickly so get me right now guys, get me right now."
Lindsay Lohan is reacting to the advice Sheen offered her yesterday when he said, "Work on your impulse control. Just try to think things through a little bit before you do them."
Lohan is reportedly telling friends that she "appreciates Charlie giving her his support."
