Frederic Prinz von Anhalt spoke of the 99-year-old's final moments.
Zsa Zsa Gabor’s widower has opened up the room where he cared for his wife until the very end.
During an exclusive tour of their Bel-Air estate, Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt demonstrated to Inside Edition how he tried to save Gabor's life when she suffered a heart attack on Sunday.
"I lifted her out, I put her [on the floor]," he said. "The guy was on the phone and told me what to do. I had to press on her chest by her breast because she was still breathing."
But she ultimately passed away after uttering her final words: "I love you."
Von Anhalt added: "It is very sad and it is a bad feeling."
Gabor, who was 99 when she died, lived inside the home for more than 40 years.
Inside her room there was a Christmas tree that brightened her final days. Von Anhalt told Inside Edition that "she did smile; she squeezed my hand" when she saw the tree.
He said she also loved to have a real fire in the bedroom fireplace.
"Not only did she see it, she smelled it," he said.

As the wound of Gabor’s passing is still fresh in her husband’s heart, he will have to move out of the opulent mansion now that she is gone, according to reports.
In 2012, Gabor sold the mansion with a special amendment that allowed the couple to live in the home until her death. Following the sale, the couple paid the new owners $325,000-a-year to continue to stay in the home, according to Reuters.
Gabor will be laid to rest on December 30 in Westwood Cemetery in California, where her only daughter Francesca, who died last year, is buried.
