Fadi Fawaz took to Twitter Monday to eulogize his lover, whom he has been dating since 2011.

Fawaz’s Twitter account is not verified by the social media outlet. However, it does display personal photos of himself as well as ones with the “Freedom ‘90” singer.
Fawaz, a celebrity hairdresser, told The Daily Telegraph: We were supposed to be going for Christmas lunch. I went round there to wake him up and he was just gone, lying peacefully in bed. We don't know what happened yet.
"Everything had been very complicated recently, but George was looking forward to Christmas, and so was I. Now everything is ruined. I want people to remember him the way he was. He was a beautiful person."
Questions still linger on exactly what killed the 53-year-old “Faith” singer. Initial reports suggest he may have died of heart failure. Other unconfirmed tabloid reports claim it may have been a heroin overdose.
Michael’s drug use had been a constant battle. His publicist of more than 30 years and close friend Gary Farrow, was quoted by the The Sun saying: “I believe easy access to drugs was the cause of his problems."
It was also reported that the singer had parties at his home that often lasted into the early hours of the morning.
Michael’s untimely death has caused sales of his music to skyrocket. Spotify has seen a 3,100 percent jump in plays.
