Douglas County District Judge Thomas Otepka ordered Potts to serve the maximum sentence for the charge.
The woman told investigators she had consumed two wine coolers, two screwdrivers and two vodka shots before falling unconscious in the bath with her 6-month-old baby, Zyaire Person, the Omaha World-Herald reported.
Her boyfriend, William Person, discovered the mother and baby when he came home from work. Zyaire was face-down in the water with blood streaming from his nose, authorities said.
