A Florida man has been arrested for allegedly helping suspected cop killer Markeith Loyd escape police following the murder of Loyd’s pregnant ex-girlfriend, according to reports.

Mayan is accused of helping Loyd avoid arrest after he allegedly shot and killed his pregnant ex-girlfriend, 24-year-old Sade Dixon on her front porch on December 13, according to an arrest report obtained by the Orlando Sentinel.
It was two days after the mother of two had broken up with Loyd that she was gunned down, and her 26-year-old brother was severely wounded, police and her family said.

Then on Monday, Loyd allegedly murdered Orlando Police Master Sgt. Debra Clayton when she attempted to arrest him outside a Wal-Mart on Princeton Street and John Young Parkway, cops said.
After allegedly shooting Clayton, Loyd was spotted fleeing the scene and fired at a deputy with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, striking the deputy's SUV twice — but missing the officer — before carjacking a vehicle and fleeing again, the OCSO said.
That vehicle was found abandoned nearby and Loyd has not been seen since, authorities said.
A massive manhunt was then launched, during which OCSO Deputy First Class Norman Lewis was fatally struck by a motorist as he traveled on his motorcycle, police said.
Mayan, who worked with Loyd at a fried chicken restaurant, reportedly gave "inconsistent statements” to investigators who spoke with him the day after Dixon's slaying, the report obtained by the Sentinel said.
He was booked into the Orange County Jail about 9:20 p.m. without bond.
Authorities on Tuesday nearly doubled the reward for information leading to the arrest of Loyd, who they say is armed and extremely dangerous.
“Help us locate Markeith Loyd,” the Orlando Police Department tweeted Tuesday, announcing the Crimeline reward for information leading to Loyd’s capture had increased from $60,000 to $100,000.
Also Tuesday, the Federal Bureau of Investigation appealed to the public in the search for Loyd, tweeting out his photo and details of Clayton’s murder Tuesday.
