Get ready for some serious cuteness.
It's the most wonderful time of the year: National Puppy Day.
To mark the day, which falls on March 23, InsideEdition.com is looking back at some of the most heartwarming and inspiring dog stories of the year.

Among the pups that made us smile was the chocolate Labrador that gave birth to a green puppy.
"We'd never heard of it before and couldn't believe our eyes," owner Elaine Cooper said. "We thought it was a black Labrador at first when it was in the sack. Then when she licked the placenta off, the pup looked emerald green."
They later named the green puppy Fifi, after Princess Fiona, from Shrek.
Another mother dog gave birth to a tremendous 19-puppy litter in 2016, while a puppy born in a New York State shelter had an image of herself on her ear.

Another set of rescue pups joined a bridal party, which posed with the dogs instead of taking traditional photots with flowers.
And there was also the Uber driver who surprised passengers with puppies from a California shelter as they took a ride around town.
