The third person in a month was pulled from icy Central Park waters.
For the second time in two days, emergency responders in New York City rescued a person who they say ignored warning signs and ventured onto one of Central Park's frozen waterways.
In video provided by NYPD, a victim later ID'd as a 16-year-old boy who was in the park alone is seen being pulled from a frozen lake near 59th street on Monday.

Witnesses told reporters that moments prior, the boy was dancing on the ice while taking video. But after the thin sheet gave way, the boy's frivolity turned to panic as he attempted to put himself out—only to cause more ice to crumble beneath him.
Thankfully, nearby NYPD counterterrorism officers were alerted to the trouble swooped in to save the day, as someone took cell phone footage of the rescue.
At a news conference held after the rescue, NYPD Counterterrorism Chief James Waters said that officers Anthony DiSpigna and Eddie Radoncic helped formulate a plan to lash two ladders to help the boy climb out.
The plan worked and when the boy was pulled far enough from the water, the officers plucked him out by his clothing.
The boy was reportedly blue when he was pulled from the water and was taken to a hospital. He's expected to be okay.
"I'm very, very proud of these officers," said Waters. "These are what NYPD officers do each and every day."

Despite rising spring temperatures and warning signs throughout Central Park, the boy's rescue is the third such incident in New York in a month.
On Sunday, two teenagers fell through after walking out onto ice but were able to scramble out on their own.
