The man who cops say walked into a store carrying a severed head has been identified as 36-year-old Josh Webb.
Police in Oregon have named their suspect in the gruesome case of a man they say entered a grocery store over the weekend while carrying a severed head before allegedly stabbing a cashier seven times.
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office arrested 36-year-old Josh Webb and charged him with murder and attempted murder after the horrific scene unfolded at the Estacada Thriftway outside Portland.

In a 911 call placed at about 2 p.m. Sunday, the caller reported a male had entered the store, soaked in blood and holding a knife and what looked like a human head.
Before the shock had a chance to register with witnesses, the scene somehow grew more terrifying as cops say the assailant stabbed a cashier multiple times with the bloody knife, according to KGW.
In a subsequent 911 call, a witness told the operator that employees had restrained the assailant and requested medical help for the victim.
Minutes later, a 911 call came from a separate scene in the town of Colton, where a caller reported finding a deceased adult female inside a residence.
That body "is connected to the separate stabbing incident at the Estacada Thriftway," the Clackamas County Sheriff's said in its original release.
On Monday evening, the body was identified as that of Webb's mother, 59-year-old Tina Marie Webb. The two lived together in the Colton home.
Employees at the Estacada Thriftway managed to subdue Webb before officers arrived, according to police.
Both Webb and the stabbing victim were taken to a hospital for treatment
Authorities have made no mention of motive or released further information. However, neighbors gave shocking details to The Oregonian about the discovery of the elder Webb's body.
It was reportedly Tina Webb's own daughter who discovered her mother's headless corpse on the floor of the Colton home.
The distraught sister ran to neighbors to ask them to call 911. She reportedly also told them she'd found the lifeless body of the family dog, as well.

The Oregonian also identified the injured employee as Michael Wagner, who was reportedly stabbed some seven times.
