Ruth Madoff, 76, was spotted running errands in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, ahead of the premiere of The Wizard of Lies on Saturday.
Robert De Niro plays Madoff and Michelle Pfeiffer portrays Ruth in the movie, which chronicles Madoff's downfall. To prepare for the role, Ruth agreed to meet with the actress.
New photos also show Ruth carrying a bag of bagels alongside her $1,400 handbag. In another photo, the reclusive Ruth filled her Prius car with gas.

Her elder son, Mark, took his life in 2010 at the age of 46, two years after his father admitted his crime. Her younger son, Andrew, succumbed to cancer in 2014 aged 48. Both worked for the legitimate market-making side of their father's business.
In 2009, Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison.
