Celebrities shared words of wisdom at graduations across the country.
Roughly 1.9 million students are receiving college degrees this year and often the one thing standing between college and commencement is the speaker.

Celebrities including Will Ferrell, Pharrell Williams, Octavia Spencer, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton offered advice to grads this past month.
While speaking at Liberty University, Donald Trump told the graduates: “Congratulations to the class of 2017. This is your day and you have earned every minute of it.”
Comedian Will Ferrell got serious when he spoke at the University of Southern California and assured graduates that if they feel confused, it is more than fine.
“To those of you who are sitting out there who have a pretty good idea what you want to do with your life – congratulations! For many of you that don’t have it all figured out, that is okay. That is the same chair that I sat in,” he said.
Octavia Spencer echoed those sentiments when she spoke at Kent State in Ohio.
“You persisted to get here and I am honored to be a part of it with you. It is an achievement that not everyone receives. Take a deep breath, look around, remember this feeling,” she said.
Many called on the students to work together and realize that whatever they do in life is not about any individual success but how it was achieved as a group.
“Engage and inspire, whether on an individual level or loudly within your community,” musician Pharrell Williams said at NYU this week.
Arnold Schwarzenegger spoke at the University of Houston and wanted the students to make a push to change the world.
“Make sure that it is not about me but it is about 'we.' Turn the me into we and I guarantee you can change the world,” the former California governor said.

While speaking at Hobart and William Smith College, President Bill Clinton wanted the students to reflect on their last four years.
He said: “I recommend you take some time today and ask yourselves, ‘What did I really get out of this anyway? What did I learn?’”
