The two thought it would be a fun gesture.
Hannah Benton, 19, and her boyfriend, Jones Willingham, proved that true love isn’t extinct when they posed for their prom photos.
Willingham donned a T-Rex inflatable costume for the cute prom photos taken in Alabama's Botanical Garden last month.

“A few months back my boyfriend wanted a dino inflatable suit. So for his birthday in November he got one. He was joking like ‘what if I wore it for Christmas photos?’” Benton told InsideEdition.com.
When Willingham's senior prom rolled around he decided it’d be the perfect occasion to bring out the T-Rex costume.
“It was really funny. We had a lot of fun,” said Benton.
Unfortunately Willingham's school dress code for the dance wouldn’t allow him to wear the suit inside.

“If it wasn’t against the dress code, we really would have done it,” Benton said.
Benton took to Twitter to share the photos saying, “I’m into older guys. 65 million years older.”
The photo quickly went viral and received more than 23,000 likes.
