This toddler and his shadow don’t seem to get along.
One-year-old Karter Willis could be seen punching and pushing his shadow in a viral video recently posted to Facebook.

“I was like, ‘Wow, what is he doing?’” his mom, Sharee Callaway, told InsideEdition.com. “I was laughing uncontrollably."
Callaway explained her phone’s flashlight app was on when little Karter must have noticed the shadow it created against the wall.
“He started going up against the wall, looking at the shadow, wondering [what it was],” his dad, Kevin Willis, told InsideEdition.com. “Before we knew it, he started fighting it.”

The next day, Callaway said she explained what a shadow was to her son – with the lights on, of course.
“This is how kids learn,” she explained. “Something happens, and you can show them, or talk to them about it. Toddlers end up finding their shadow at some point.”
