'Stranger Things' was close behind with 18.
The 2017 Emmy nominations were announced Thursday and Saturday Night Live tied with HBO's Westworld for the most nominations – 22 each.
Netflix’s Stranger Things scored 18 nominations and tied FX’s Feud: Bette And Joan, which starred Jessica Lange as Joan Crawford and Susan Sarandon as Bette Davis.
Netflix was the second highest network to score nods with 91, trailing HBO which had 110 selections. NBC came in third with 60 nominations.
The nominations were announced by actor Shemar Moore from CBS’ new police drama SWAT and Veep actress Anna Chlumsky. The My Girl actress' co-stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tony Hale and Matt Walsh also got announced as nominees.
In the “Outstanding Variety Talk Series” category, Samantha Bee will duke it out with her former Daily Show alums John Oliver and Stephen Colbert. James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel and Bill Maher also got nominations. Noticeably left out of the category was Jimmy Fallon and current Daily Show host Trevor Noah.
