The couple announced their split late Sunday, posting a joint statement on social media.

“Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another,” read the statement.
The pair met in 2007 on the set of the romantic comedy Take Me Home Tonight. They married two years later. Since then, the two have been charming fans on the red carpet.
They seemed inseparable, with the Parks and Rec actor making a guest appearance on her hit CBS sitcom Mom.
Last April, their 4-year-old son, Jack, was front and center as his dad received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

The 38-year-old is one of Hollywood’s hunkiest men and highest-paid actors having stared in blockbusters like 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy and its 2017 sequel, as well as 2015’s Jurassic World.
For months, rumors swirled that their marriage was on the rocks, after word came out that Pratt was having an affair with his Passengers co-star Jennifer Lawrence. Pratt and Lawrence both deny the reports.
Earlier this year, Faris took to her podcast, Unqualified, to denounce those tabloid reports.
“It made me feel incredibly very insecure” she said at the time. “I take pride in how great my relationship is with Chris, but having said that, of course, in this crazy world where he's off doing movies and I’m in L.A. raising our child, of course I’m going to feel vulnerable, like any normal human would.”
Courtney Spritzer, co-founder and co-CEO of Social Fly, told Inside Edition the two are "so active on social media, people have become so attached to them as a couple, so, this news has become devastating to their fans."
