Russell Armstrong's Son Disputes Abuse Claims Made by Stepmother Taylor Armstrong

In an exclusive interview with INSIDE EDITION, Russell Armstrong's son Aiden, stepson of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong, is speaking out against her claims that Russell abused her before he died.

14-year-old Aiden Armstrong, the stepson of Taylor Armstrong of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, says he wants to set the record straight.

He spoke exclusively to INSIDE EDITION about the troubled relationship that existed between Taylor and his father Russell, who killed himself in August.

"How would you describe your dad's relationship with Taylor?" INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret asked.

"It was very cold. There was no romance, half the time you wouldn't even know that they were married, you would think that they were business partners because that seems to be all that they would talk about," he said.

Aiden spent a lot of time at Russell and Taylor's Beverly Hills mansion and says she's not speaking the truth about her claim that his father beat her up and gave her a black eye.

"Was your dad ever abusive?" Moret asked.

"I never really saw any signs of abuse," said Aiden.

Aiden and his dad were very close.

He says Taylor never even called him about the loss of his dad. In fact, he claims Taylor tried to keep his dad away from him, wanting Russell to instead focus on their daughter Kennedy and throwing her a lavish $60,000 birthday party.

"I thought it was ridiculous," Aiden said.

"Did your dad start seeing you less and less because of Taylor?" Moret asked.

"I don't think she wanted me or my brother around," he said.

"That's the feeling she gave you?" asked Moret.

"Yeah, it was very cold, it was almost a sense of, ok you're here, now leave."

Aiden says his dad may have had flaws, but he was not the man TV viewers think he was.

"Don't believe everything you hear. I'm his son, I think I would know," he said.
