Another new controversy has hit the TLC reality show, Toddlers and Tiaras, this time over a young girl performing a song about being sexy. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
It's the latest uproar over a Toddlers and Tiaras star.
A five-year-old beauty queen, Isabella Barrett was caught on video, in a nightclub, singing the songs "Sexy and I Know It" and Rihanna's "We Found Love."
Barrett's appearance at a New York City club has sparked extreme outrage online.
"She is a little girl, what is she doing in a bar?" wrote one furious blogger.
"A five-year-old has no business singing that song. What is wrong with her mother?" said another.
INSIDE EDITION's Les Trent spoke to Isabella and her mom Susanna.
Trent asked, "What is a five-year-old doing in a nightclub?"
Susanna responded, "I Googled it online. It looked like a beautiful place when we went. It was setup like an event. There was vendor tables, there was pets. There was nothing that made me think 'Is this going to be too much for my daughter?' "
The mom says they were at the nightclub Libation to attend an animal charity event, when the DJ spotted Isabella in her pink sequined costume and invited her into the booth.
Isabella is best known for her feud with another pint-sized beauty queen, three-year-old Paisley Dickey.
Dickey made headlines when her mom dressed her up as Julia Roberts' prostitute character in Pretty Woman.
Isabella then struck out, saying, "My mom doesn't dress me up as a hooker."
When Trent asked Isabella if she really made those claims against Dickey, Isabella responded, "My mom made me."
Susanne admitted, "I've made a mistake. I should have never pushed my personal views through her."
Isabella is being called Toddlers and Tiaras' new "it" girl. She even has her own show in Germany and a line of jewlery.
She's learning at a very young age that with fame, comes criticism.
