Sherri Shepherd was in tears after being voted off Dancing With the Stars. Meanwhile, INSIDE EDITION has the latest on Melissa Gilbert's condition after her accident on the show.
There was a big shocker on Dancing with the Stars when The View's Sherri Shepherd got the boot—and burst into sobs.
Through a river of tears, Shepherd expressed her gratitude to the show.
"I just want to say thank you for letting me live a dream that I've always had," said Shepherd.
And Shepherd returned to The View on Wednesday to a standing ovation, and hugs from co-hosts.
"We are not happy, child. We are not happy, she was robbed," said Whoopi Goldberg.
Shepherd reflected on her teary farewell.
"It was really tears of joy. Because—you guys know—I've wanted to do this for so long. And when you work so hard at something, and to be taken off the ride so soon, it was devastating," said Shepherd.
Meanwhile, we're learning new details about Melissa Gilbert's head injury. An isolated camera shows she didn't hit her head on the floor, but on her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy's leg.
Contestant Gavin DeGraw carried Melissa to a couch, where paramedics gave her oxygen.
Gilbert had a mild concussion, and couldn't make it to last night's results show.
And contestant William Levy, this season's heartthrob, is on the cover of the new People magazine out Friday.
The story goes into his difficult childhood—he grew up dirt poor in Cuba.
"Back in Cuba, William says he was used to being hungry, and watching movies from the United States he would see these refrigerators full of food. And that was really the dream for him—living in America and having everything you need," said Charlotte Triggs of People magazine.
