Bobby Brown is speaking out for the first time since the death of his former wife, Whitney Houston, and he says he's not to blame for her downfall. INSIDE EDITION has the story.
Whitney Houston's ex is breaking his silence. Bobby Brown sat down with the Today show's Matt Lauer for his first interview since the superstar's death in February.
He talked about the last time he saw Houston, just one week before she died.
"She had this glow about her that was just incredible," said Brown.
Bobby Brown also told Lauer that he's not blame for her drug addiction or death.
"I wasn't the one that got Whitney on drugs," Brown told Lauer, "I'm not the reason she's gone."
Brown says the last time he saw Houston was when she came to pick up their daughter from a restaurant.
"She was joking around with Bobbi Kris and myself at the table. And I was thinking to myself, 'she must really be doing well,' because she looked really well," said Brown.
The interview airs on the Today show Wednesday and Thursday.
