Robert Pattinson has packed his bags and moved out of the Los Angeles home he shared with Kristen Stewart, following the jaw-dropping apology she made for cheating on him.
People magazine said the handsome hunk walked out on Stewart in the hours after she told the world, "I love him! I love him, I'm so sorry."
Charlotte Triggs of People Magazine said, "Rob Pattinson is angry and heartbroken about what has happened with Kristen cheating, and he has now left their Los Angeles home."
Stewart is now facing an avalanche of unforgiving headlines.
"Vamp tramp," blared the front page of the New York Post. The New York Daily News called Stewart a "Sorry mess!"
The anger is palpable in the British papers where Robert Pattinson is a hometown idol. England's Daily Mail calls her apology "Groveling."
Twilight fans around the world are quite simply flipping out.
One fan posted a video, saying, "I don't understand how could she do this! Why would you cheat on Robert Pattinson? What's the point of that?"
On The View, Whoopi noted, "A lot of people were shocked! Millions of Twilight fans are really taking this news to heart!"
In her apology, Stewart called her make out session with movie director Rupert Sanders a "Momentary indiscretion," but was it really just a quick fling?
INSIDE EDITION found a photo of Stewart on May 15th, a full month before that now infamous make out session, having dinner with the cast and crew of Snow White and the Huntsman in Berlin. But she only seemed to have eyes for her handsome movie director.
The entire cast flew to the US, and on May 29th they appeared at the Los Angeles premiere of the movie. In one photo, Sanders' hand was protectively tucked around Stewart's waist.
Then, on July 17, they were found in a position they never dreamed would ever be exposed—snuggling in the photos which appear exclusively in US Weekly magazine.
The photos were shot on the Pacific View trail. The spectacular view makes it a popular spot for lovers.
The last time Stewart and Pattinson were seen in public as a couple was at the Teen Choice Awards on July 22nd. On stage they were all smiles, but according to one report, Stewart was seen "pleading" with Pattinson and he looked "heartbroken and humiliated," according to the New York Post.
Just last month, Pattinson told Italian Vanity Fair, "There's a thing I've never got, and that is, why do people cheat? I can understand the impulse, but not how you can keep two relationships going at the same time for long."
Stewart is said to have begged the photographer who took those damning US Weekly magazine photos not to sell them.
Meanwhile, professional image experts are aghast at how open Stewart was in admitting her indiscretions.
President of The Britto Agency, Marvet Britto said "She made it seem as though it was an honest mistake, and one she wanted to address and clarify, and wants to move past it."
