Another young person has become an inspiration to millions.
12-year-old Nathan Sorrell won hearts all over America as he made his long, lonely run for a Nike ad that ran during the Olympics.
"I didn't think it was going to go this far," Sorrell told INSIDE EDITION.
The 5' 3", 200-pound teen from London, Ohio, has gained gold medal popularity because he's got "everyman" appeal.
Sorrell said, "It inspired people to think that if I can do it, they can do it."
He ran a stretch of road an incredible 55 times during the making of the ad.
"It was hard, but because it was fun, it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be," he said.
Slowly but surely, he's getting into shape. Our advice to the young star—Go for it, buddy!
