The MTV Video Music Awards had many memorable moments, but none more than Rihanna actually giving a kiss to her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
Rihanna brought the house down at last night's MTV Video Music Awards . The singer dazzled the crowd in red, and everyone's talking about her new short pixie haircut. Rapper A$AP Rocky got intimate with the singer, grabbing her by the butt. Rihanna and Chris Brown also reunited at the MTV VMA's. Is it love again for the troubled twosome?
It was a big night for Rihanna as she took home the biggest award of the night, Video of the Year. But, there was a moment that stunned the crowd.
After accepting her award at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, MTV.com cameras caught Rihanna and Chris Brown sharing a quick kiss and a hug as she left the stage.
Rihanna also playfully tapped the top of Brown's dyed blond head. It's their most public display of affection we've seen since Brown was convicted of assaulting Rihanna in 2009. Reaction is pouring in. The New York Daily News headline asks, "What were you thinking Riri?"
And, the majority of INSIDE EDITION viewers are not happy with Rihanna and Chris Brown's big kiss.
Christine writes on the INSIDE EDITION Facebook page, "Absolutely revolting."
And Jason writes, "Rihanna unfortunately isn't very smart."
But Sammy disagrees, writing, "Not our place to judge. If she can forgive and let go, why can't we do the same!"
Brown also had a front row seat as his rival, Drake won the Best Hip Hop Video.
In his acceptance speech, Drake said, "I want to dedicate this award to like any kid that's ever had a long walk home by yourself."
The two singers famously got into a bitter brawl at a New York City nightclub in June, but never came face-to-face at last night's awards show.
The Twilight cast was on hand to introduce an exclusive clip from the final Twilight film. Robert Pattinson was front and center.
But, where was his ex, Kristen Stewart? She was 2,500 miles away at the Tornoto Film Festival, promoting her new film. It was her first red carpet appearance since the cheating scandal that ended her relationship with Pattinson.
One Direction wows the crowd at the VMA's. The british boy band performed their newest hit, took home three Moon Men, and a kiss from Katy Perry.
And Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas made an amazing impression showing off the skills that won her gold at the Olympics. As she turned flips, she revealed a sparkly sports bra underneath her flowing top. The 16-year-old performed to Alisha Keys' new song.
Douglas tweeted from backstage: "Had so much fun tonight at the VMA's with my girls it couldn't have been better!!!"
And, the most anticipated performance of the night came when Taylor Swift closed the show singing her new hit "We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together."
The pop sensation showed off her glamorous gams in short shorts, and she got up close and personal with her fans, body surfing into the crowd.
