Before undergoing surgery, 5-year-old Kyu San Juan only wanted to do one thing: dance.
Kyu recruited his grandfather, Txhiaj Sawm Muas, as a backup dancer in the frozen food aisle of a Wisconsin grocery store in the middle of the night.
"We all were getting ready to go to bed," Kyu's mom, Rasami Moua, told InsideEdition.com. "And then Kyu said he wanted to go dancing."
The mother was a little apprehensive, she admitted, worried that people might think they were crazy.
She needn't have been concerned, though. The aisles were empty.
"Kyu was like, What people?'" she said.
And the boogie down brought Kyu luck as he underwent surgery for cerebral arteriovenous malformation, a condition he was born with that causes an abnormal connection between the veins and the arteries in the brain.
Fortunately, all went well and Kyu is well on his way to dancing again.
