It's a first lady bake-off!
Michelle Obama and Ann Romney are going head-to-head in a first lady cookie contest. Sharing their favorite cookie recipes in the November issue of Family Circle Magazine.
Michelle's favorite cookie is white and dark chocolate chip.
"Michelle Obama's cookies were really unique. I think people really responded to the mint flavor," said Family Circle Assistant Food Editor, Melissa Knific.
Ann's offering up M&M cookies.
"They have a little bit of everything that people love. M&m's, oatmeal and peanut butter," said Knific.
So, who's cookies are the best? We just had to find out for ourselves. We went to "Ouest Restaurant" in New York City where owner, Thomas Valenti whipped up both recipes for us. Then, the moment of truth.
Family Circle conducted it's own taste test. More than 9,000 readers took the challenge, and Michelle Obama's white and dark chocolate chip cookies won. But it was close, just 287 votes separated her from Ann Romney.
