INSIDE EDITION followed Honey Boo Boo through the posh streets, shops and restaurant of Beverly Hills, and you won’t believe what happened.
Honey Boo Boo and her mom have moved to Beverly—Hills, that is, and she's as well known as any A-list movie star.
INSIDE EDITION’s Jim Moret spent the day with realty TV’s biggest star. And everywhere they went, paparazzi followed. Moret’s lunch date with mamma June and Honey Boo Boo even became news around the world. It appeared as a headline in England's Daily Mail.
For lunch, the gang went to the Villa Blanca restaurant, a favorite celebrity lunch spot in the heart of Rodeo Drive. Of course, they were given the best table in the house, a primo location in the corner by the window.
Honey Boo Boo had a hard time sitting still. After all, she's just seven. After lunch, Honey Boo Boo wanted ice cream, and, believe it or not, an ice cream truck stopped on Rodeo Drive.
“I’m eating Spongebob,” said Honey Boo Boo as she enjoyed a Spongebob Squarepants ice cream bar.
Then, Honey Boo Boo saw something she's never seen back home in McIntyre, Georgia–an ATM that dispenses cupcakes.
“Cupcakes in an ATM machine, mamma!” said Honey Boo Boo.
But they didn't seem impressed by the shops on Rodeo Drive, perhaps the most exclusive, and expensive, shopping district in the U.S.A.
"We go to, like, Wal-Mart. It's like one of our favorite places. We was talking about we passed Target coming this way and it was like, 'Ah, there's a Target,'" said June.
Finally, INSIDE EDITION wanted to give Honey Boo Boo a gift, a necklace from Tiffany's.
When Honey Boo Boo opened the box, June said, "Ah, a crown."
As the two drove away, the young star yelled from the vehicle, "Bye, Bye. Honey Boo Boo is leaving Rodeo Drive."
