Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were a hit as co-hosts at this year's Golden Globes where a little controversy and a lot of fun took place. INSIDE EDITION was in the middle of it all.
INSIDE EDITION's Deborah Norville was on the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel at the Golden Globe Awards where anything can happen.
Norville caught up with none other than Best Actor in a Musical winner, Hugh Jackman.
"I just thank my lucky stars. I'm just gald it wasn't my first movie, because I can really appreciate it," said Jackman.
Best TV Actress winner, Claire Danes was enjoying a mom's night out. Can you believe the svelte Homeland star gave birth to a baby boy just one month ago?
Norville asked, "Was it hard to leave him?"
"Well, he's actually right upstairs with my parents. I'm going to go feed him right now and then go back to the ceremony," said Danes.
Norville asked, "How did you lose the weight so fast?"
"I haven't yet, but I'm very strapped in. This is Versace, and they're masters of illusion."
Forget the Golden Globes—this was more like the Frozen Globes! The temperature dipped to the high 40s which is really, really cold for Los Angeles, even in January.
Best Actress winner Lena Dunham of HBO's Girls told Norville adrenaline was keeping her warm.
"Usually, I'd be home watching you and eating Chinese food with my mother, so this is very exciting speaking to your face," said Dunham.
Norville asked Kristen Wiig, "How are you staying warm?"
Wiig replied, "I'm not. I'm freezing! I'm shaking. I'm acting."
Birthday girl Julia Louis-Dreyfus was celebrating her 51st birthday.
"I prefer to be cold than hot," said Louis-Dreyfus.
Norville said, "Well, you're very hot in this dress. Who are you wearing?"
"I'm wearing Vera Wang."
And Best Actor nominee Don Cheadle told Norville, "I tried to rig it."
Hey, it looks like it worked. He won for House of Lies.
Something you didn't see on TV was Best Actress winner Julianne Moore greeting gold medal-winning gymnast Gabby Douglas.
President Clinton was a surprise guest and took the stage to a standing ovation to introduce Best Picture nominee Lincoln.
Amy Poehler joked, "What an exciting special guest! That was Hillary Clinton's husband."
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler shared hosting duties this year. They are friends off-stage. So, how did they do on stage together?
The funny ladies were, in a word, brilliant. We spotted them rushing in moments before showtime, and they just nailed it.
In the opening, Tina Fey said, "Hunger Games was one of the biggest films of the year. And also what I call the six weeks it took me to get into this dress."
Poehler followed with, "Ang Lee's been nominated for Best Director for Life of Pi, which is what I'm going to call the six weeks after I take this dress off."
Then there was the zinger aimed at Best Director nominee Kathryn Bigelow, who was once married to Titanic director James Cameron when Amy Poehler said, "I haven't really been following the controversy over Zero Dark Thirty, but when it comes to torture, I trust the lady who spent three years married to James Cameron.
Of course, Tina and Amy became stars on Saturday Night Live. We caught up with executive producer, Lorne Michaels.
"How much of a proud father do you feel like?" asked Norville.
Michaels said, "I was watching them work yesterday putting together their monologue and writing their jokes. They're the best."
Ben Affleck may have been snubbed by the Oscars, but that wasn't the case at the Globes. Argo's wins for Best Director and Best Picture were the biggest surprises of the night.
On stage, Affleck said, "I don't care what the award is. When they put your name next to the names she just read off, it's an extraordinary thing in your life."
Girls won Best Comedy, preventing Modern Family from repeating their win last year. But believe it or not, Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson was rooting for the quirky show.
"I would love for another show to win this year. I'm obsessed with Girls, and I would love to see them win an award," said Tyler Ferguson.
And what's an award show without a controversy?
Quentin Tarantino, who won for Best Screenplay, shocked reporters backstage by using the "N"-word. The word is used more than 100 times in Django Unchained.
Tarantino said in the press room, "They're saying I should lie. They're saying I should white wash. They're saying that I should massage. And I never do that when it comes to my characters."
And what was up with Tommy Lee Jones' "not impressed" face. His deadpan stare to Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell's hilarious routine has gone viral. He didn't even crack a smile when they ripped on his movie, Hope Springs, while everyone else lost it.
INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret was in our backstage one-on-one room, and he caught up with one of the big winners, Hugh Jackman. Moret said, "I'm with Hugh Jackman, winner for Best Actor in a musical. That sounds pretty darn good, doesn't it?"
Jackman said, "It sounds pretty amazing. Particulary this musical, which I grew up loving. I never thought in my wildest dreams I'd be in it, let alone carrying one of these [awards.]
Jackman took a turn on our high-tech doodle board, doodling what else but a map of his native Australia, showing us where he was born and where he fell in love.

Best Dramatic Actress winner, Zero Dark Thirty's Jessica Chastain, also stopped by.
Moret said, "My son just texted me: "Tell Jessica Chastain I love her. She is an amazing actress."
Chastain took the time to text back his 15-year-old, Matthew: "This is Jessica! Thank you so much!!! I love you!"
Moret said, "Oh my gosh, that is so sweet of you. How do you feel?"
"Amazing!"
Claire Danes was elated with her win but told Moret a certain little man was on her mind.
"I'm worried that he's probably screaming his head off because he's due for dinner No. 4," said Danes.
Lena Dunham and the cast of Girls all added their John Hancock's.
And Kevin Costner, who won Best Actor in a miniseries for Hatfields And McCoys," wrote a special message to our viewers: "Kevin Costner, see you at the movies."
