Michelle "Bombshell" McGee is apologizing to Sandra Bullock. In an exclusive interview with INSIDE EDITION, she tells her side of the story and reveals previously unknown details about her relationship with Jesse James.
"I am so sorry this happened, [it's] a heartfelt apology," says Michelle "Bombshell" McGee.
She's other woman in Sandra Bullock's marriage, and she's offering a flat-out apology to the soon-to-be-divorced actress.
"I feel for her. And to go through all this, the embarrassment she must be going through...it's very sad."
McGee is the tattooed model who had an affair with Bullock's husband Jesse James. Now she's telling her story, only to INSIDE EDITION.
She says she met James after sending him a MySpace friend request in hopes it might lead to modeling work. He invited her to meet him at West Coast Choppers in Long Beach, California.
When she got there, at 9 p.m., she says he put the moves on her.
"I said to him, 'Wait, wait, wait, stop, this isn't right. Aren't you married to Sandra?' And he said, 'No, we are separated. I can't talk about it, she's filming a movie right now, she lives in Austin, Texas. I live here. We live separately, we are not together,' " McGee tells INSIDE EDITION.
"Was he wearing a wedding ring?" INSIDE EDITION's Lisa Guerrero asks her.
"No, he was not wearing a wedding ring. I was duped by him. I believed him when he told me that he was separated," says McGee.
32-year-old McGee says they had sex on the sofa in James's office that night. It was the beginning of a passionate affair.
But why would the husband of one of Hollywood's most glamorous leading ladies fool around with a tattooed biker chick?
"I think Jesse saw maybe a little bit more in common with me. We have the tattoos, we're into the motorcycles. He always told me how beautiful I was, [said] I had gorgeous eyes. On a daily basis I heard how beautiful I was," McGee says. "Maybe I offered something intellectually she didn't have..."
"You think you really honestly offer anything intellectually that Sandra Bullock can't offer?" asks Guerrero.
"Who knows? I don't know Sandra Bullock personally. Who knows what Jesse saw in me," McGee says.
"Did you ever hope to become the next Mrs. Jesse James?"
"I did, I did have those feelings...wow, I hope this does progress into something good," admits McGee.
Then came Oscar® night...McGee watched stunned as Jesse James and Sandra gushed over each other all night long.
"I was in shock. I kind of like took a step back and I was like, 'Wow, why is this guy acting like this when just a week before he's text messaged me, "thinking about you." And then he's putting on this, I guess act, in front of his wife. It tugged at my heart a little bit. I just kind of...that kind of sucked. I really wanted something to come out of this. So yeah, it hurt a little bit," McGee says.
"Did you call him, did you text him? Did you say what are you doing?" Guerrero asks her.
"No. I never had any communication with him after that, no," says McGee.
Months later, the scandal is still making front-page headlines.
"Most people really don't like you. You've destroyed the marriage of America's Sweetheart," Guerrero says.
"No I don't feel I personally destroyed any marriage. I believe Jesse destroyed his own marriage," says McGee.
