After two years, George Clooney and Stacy Keibler are no longer a couple. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
It's finally over for George Clooney and Stacy Keibler. The couple split after two years of dating and People.com reports it was actually Keibler who dumped Clooney.
People magazine editor Charlotte Triggs told INSIDE EDITION, "She wants to have children someday and George has famously said that he does not want to settle down and does not want kids. So, she had to end the relationship."
Clooney was photographed over the July 4th holiday weekend with his buddies at his Italian villa in Lake Como, Italy. Keibler was no where in sight. They apparently broke up a few weeks ago but People.com says it was a friendly split.
"They're still very friendly. They talk every day, There's going to stay friends and keep this amicable," said Triggs.
A hint of trouble in the relationship came on June 10, when Stacy tweeted: "Trying times are not the times to stop trying."
Clooney is an avowed bachelor, but it seemed the long-legged Keibler might have been the one to finally get him to settle down. The pair seemed inseperable, walking red carpets together and attending award shows like a committed couple.
Keibler started her show biz career as a professional wrestler and later showed off her amazing figure on Dancing with the Stars. She is the latest in a long line of beauties who have dated the 52-year-old heartthrob.
There was Italian actress Elisabetta Canalis, who also appeared on Dancing with the Stars and former waitress and Fear Factor winner Sarah Larson. She and Clooney got into an accident on his motorcycle, leading to her walk down the red carpet with crutches.
Now, Stacy Keibler and George Clooney are no more, and one of the world's most eligible bachelors is back on the market.
"These are two of the most attractive people in Hollywood. It's really doubtful that they're going to stay single for very long," said Triggs.
