One 7-year-old boy is a multimillionaire thanks to his YouTube channel.
Ryan of Ryan ToysReview has had a wildly successful YouTube channel since 2015. The videos feature him opening, unboxing and playing with toys, and have been viewed more than 26 billion times.
The pint-size entrepreneur has 17.3 million subscribers on YouTube who not only value his short clips but are influenced by his taste. Thanks to his power to drive toy buzz, Ryan is now the top earner on YouTube this year, making $22 million.
"He is a 7-year-old, and he opens that toy, he gets that endorphins going, an explosion of joy, and when people watch it with them, they get that endorphin rush," social media expert Chris Dessi told Inside Edition.
Ryan usually appears in the videos with his father or mother, and his channel has led to other business opportunities as the family is now selling toys that he personally approves of.
