A Twitter exchange between Senatorial candidate Cory Booker and a stripper has surfaced. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
She's the stripper who admits she exchanged flirtatious tweets with rising political star, Mayor Cory Booker of Newark, New Jersey, who is running for the U.S. Senate.
Twenty-six-year-old Lynsie Lee, a dancer at a strip club in Portland, Oregon, has a Twitter page peppered with nude and topless selfies.
She tweeted Booker: "I want @CORYBOKKER.....through the night."
Another said: "@corybooker the west coast loves you (by west coast I mean me) :) "
To which Booker actually replied: "The east coast loves you and by east coast I mean me."
She answered: 'Well, now I'm blushing."
Forty-four-year-old Booker has become a political rock star, speaking at the Democratic Convention and appearing on the Tonight Show and Oprah.
INSIDE EDITION's Diane McInerney asked Lee, "How would you describe these messages? Were they flirtatious? Were they sexual in nature?"
"From me, I was flirtatious. But him, I think he was just flattering me. He's a good guy and I think he was just trying to make me feel good about myself."
Unlike former New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner, whose political career was destroyed in a sexting scandal with Sydney Leathers, Booker is not married. He defended his online flirtation today.
Booker said at a press conference, "She was being incredibly kind to me and I simply responded in kind. And that, to me, is what we should be doing is exchanging kindnesses, not judgements about what your profession is," said Booker.
Lee had a final word for Booker, who's a big fan of Star Trek, saying, "Live long and prosper."
