Miley Cyrus has done it again and this time it was too much, even for MTV!
She lit up, what appeared to be a joint, onstage at the MTV EMA’s in Amsterdam. The stunt is sparking strong reaction with most people fed up by her antics.
Marie Osmond said on The Talk, "She used to be a good influence. Now, she is under the influence."
She arrived at the European VMA’s determined to shock in a daring backless micro mini-dress. She opened the show by twerking with a little person! Later, she performed her hit song, “Wrecking Ball” in a high-cut body suit that left little to the imagination. Her ear piece had a marijuana leaf on it.
She won the Best Video award and that's when she produced that hand-rolled cigarette.
The moment was actually edited out when the show was broadcast Sunday night on MTV in the United States.
The reaction online has been overwhelmingly negative.
One person said, "Desperate."
Another said, "Pathetic."
"What a classless girl. I'm actually embarrassed for her," wrote another.
The Today show said, “What is the next act? Will she drown a kitten? Pee on a hobo? What happens next?"
So what does Cyrus think of the backlash?
Judging by her latest tweet, she could care less: "Sometimes in life you just gotta decide to not give a (blank)."
