Kaley Cuoco's New Year's Eve wedding was highlighted with her pink Vera Wang gown and one unforgettable cake. INSIDE EDITION has details.
2014 began with a bang for Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco. Kaley and tennis pro, Ryan Sweeting were married in an eye-popping New Year's Eve ceremony.
The sitcom actress wore a pink wedding gown by designer Vera Wang.
The Knot fashion editor Jennie Ma told INSIDE EDITION, "She wore a beautiful, strapless, sweetheart neckline and it was in a beautiful pink, almost a fuschia pink. I just thought she looked amazing."
Kaley posted a romantic photo of their first dance and tweeted: "I married my sweetheart. Life couldn't be sweeter."
Ryan tweeted: "My cheeks hurt from smiling so hard. Best night in history."
Kaley's pink gown follows a trend set by other brides, including Jessica Biel.
"Girls want something different and they're always looking for new ways to kind of show off their personality and show off how unique they are, and color is a great way of doing that," said Ma.
Kaley tweeted Vera Wang: "Thank you for my pink fairy princess gown. It was a dream come true."
And what looked like a chandelier was actually the wedding cake. It had all the guests marveling. The cake was made by The Butter End bakery in Los Angeles. INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret was given an exclusive look at how that amazing gravity defying cake was created.
Kimberly Bailey of The Butter End Bakery told INSIDE EDITION, "It was either going to be a success and be super bad-ass, or it was going to potentially be a colossal failure."
Moret asked, "How long did it take to make this cake?"
"It was starting about a month-and-a-half of planning and engineering. Three trips to the warehouse for measurements and stress testing on the chandelier. A couple of trips to The Home Depot. I almost cried when I saw it hung," said Bailey.
