Bode Miller's tearful interview sparks intense reaction, while hockey player T.J. Oshie is flooded with marriage proposals. INSIDE EDITION has the latest from the Winter Games in Sochi.
It's the interview that's unleashing a social media firestorm.
A reporter asked Miller, "When you're looking up at the sky at the start, we see you there and it looks like you're talking to somebody. What's going on there?"
Twitter exploded with outrage when skiing star Bode Miller dissolved into tears over repeated questions about his younger brother who died of a seizure last year.
"Hope it was worth ripping his heart out like that," says one tweet.
"Why can't they leave Bode Miller alone and let him deal with his emotions," says another.
Miller had just won a bronze medal in the men's Super-G when he was asked about his brother three straight times by NBC Olympics reporter Christin Cooper. By the third time, tears were streaming down Miller's cheeks.
"NBC Pushes Too Far In Bringing Bode Miller To Tears" reads The New York Times headline.
But Miller defended the NBC reporter on the Today show.
Miller said, "I feel terrible that she is taking the heat for that because it really is just a heat of the moment kind of circumstance, and I don't think there was any harm intended."
NBC says in a statement: "We understand how some viewers thought the line of questioning went too far, but it was our judgment that his answers were a necessary part of the story."
Social media is also going crazy over America's newest Olympic hero, hockey player T.J. Oshie, who led Team USA to a dramatic shootout win over Russia this weekend.
T.J. is being bombarded with marriage proposals and looked embarrassed on the Today show when they read one posting that said, "How does it feel to know that my wife would leave me for you in two seconds."
Well, bad news ladies—he's taken.
INSIDE EDITION sat down with Lauren Cosgrove, who has been T.J.'s girlfriend for three years. She said, "He's been a heartthrob here in St. Louis for a while now, actually. So, I'm used to that part. I guess now, it's all of America."

They got engaged right before he left for the Olympics. She had to stay home in St. Louis with their three dogs because she's eight months pregnant. They're expecting a baby girl.
Cosgrove said, "Although it's unfortunate I wasn't able to to go to Russia for the Olympics, the baby is No. 1. We're so excited and couldn't be happier about the baby. Every time T.J. calls he asks, 'Is the baby kicking for me?' "
Meanwhile, Bob Costas is finally getting over the most famous case of Pink Eye in TV history and will be back Monday night as NBC's Primetime host.
He made the announcement in a phone call, saying, "I'm not 100 percent, that's for sure. But if I waited until I was 100 percent, the Olympics would be over."
