Slime and Skin Color The 2014 Kids Choice Awards

The Kids’ Choice Awards turned out some big stars, some eyebrow-raising moments, and of course, a lot of slime. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

Host Mark Wahlberg was slimed at Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards, as his three children looked on.

“I can't believe my own children turned on me!” Wahlberg exclaimed.

Mark was in good company. Also covered by the sweet green stuff was The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco and singer Pharrell Williams. Williams’ trademark floppy Fedora was safe and secure; he chose to wear bright yellow duds on stage instead.

Magician David Blaine lost his head when he got slimed…literally. Robert Downey Junior, voted best male butt-kicker, had this advice for when life slimes you:  "Remember when life is kicking your butt, never forget to kick it back right in the face."

The Huffington Post has complained that there was too much skin on the orange carpet. Disney star Debby Ryan bared her midriff and wore a high-slit skirt; Victorious actress Daniella Monet raised eyebrows in a plunging neckline; and comedian Lia Marie Johnson wore a yellow dress with waistline cut-outs.

The Huffington Post wrote, "Yeah, we know that most of these performers are over 18, but it's still a family event."

Glee's Lea Michele had an unintended Marilyn Monroe moment in her peach lace Elie Saab dress.

But no one could outshine that slime!
