The newest issue of People magazine details how Tipper is fighting back against claims made by a masseuse that Al Gore groped her in a Portland hotel room in 2006.
A friend of Tipper's tells People magazine, "She doesn't believe anything this woman is saying."
Tipper wants the world to know the sex scandal isn't what broke up their marriage.
Betsy Gleick, the executive editor at People, said, "A friend of Tipper's told People magazine that Tipper has known about these allegations for years, and that they played no part in the decision to end their marriage."
