Will Honey Boo Boo’s dad fight for custody after their reality show was cancelled over published reports that claim Mama June is dating a convicted sex offender? INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
It's bye-bye, Boo Boo.
Workers are dismantling TV lights and other gear at Honey Boo Boo's Georgia home after the controversial show was axed by TLC.
Honey Boo Boo was later spotted returning home with her sister. It was the nine-year-old's first sighting since Here Comes Honey Boo Boo bit the dust.
The big question now is, will Honey Boo Boo's dad, "Sugar Bear" Thompson, fight for custody of his daughter after published reports claimed that Mama June was dating a convicted child molester?
HLN's Nancy Grace said, "Reality TV child star, Honey Boo Boo, her mother allegedly dating a convicted child molester?"
INSIDE EDITION asked Sugar Bear, "Sugar Bear, are you upset at all about June having that guy around Alana?"
He said, "A little bit."
A friend of Sugar Bear is quoted as saying, "He wants her out of that environment and knows the only way to do that is to get custody."
Mama June's purported boyfriend, Mark McDaniel, actually went to jail for abusing another of her daughters.
A photo reportedly shows Mama June and Honey Boo Boo with McDaniel recently.
But Mama June denies she is dating McDaniel again and insists she has not even seen him for ten years.
The daughter who was molested, Anna Marie Cardwell, now 20, has relinquished her anononymity to talk to People magazine.
She says that if her mom is indeed dating McDaniel again, "I would feel hurt. The past should be in the past."
