The much-hyped, live musical Peter Pan is getting mixed reviews today.
The Daily Beast website calls it "Boring."
And the New York Daily News says that the musical "Failed To Take Flight."
But The New York Times was kinder, calling it a "Loving, Lavish Tribute To A Beloved Musical."
About 9.2 million viewers watched Peter Pan, which is actually pretty good, but it's half of the 19 million who watched The Sound of Music last year.

Allison Williams is getting lukewarm reactions.
One reviewer said her "Nerves Showed In Her Stiff Acting," [New York Post] but another praised her "lovely singing voice."
Allison's proud dad, NBC anchorman Brian Williams, took the night off to watch Peter Pan.
The lavish production was praised for its "Visually Exciting," [Slate] "Imaginative Sets," [CBS] and impressive aerial effects.
One reviewer said the flying scenes were "A Wonder To Behold" [The Daily Beast].
Christopher Walken played the flamboyant Captain Hook.
The New York Post called him "Dazed And Confused," and he was blasted for lip-syncing and fake tap dancing.
Hey, give the guy a break. He's 75.
Carrie Underwood, who was in their shoes last year, gave the cast a big thumbs up, tweeting: "I hope the cast & crew of #PeterPanLive feel so happy & proud right now! What an incredible thing you all were a part of tonight! Amazing!!"
