A massive traffic jam backed up for miles when protesters blocked Interstate 80 over the Eric Garner grand jury decision. INSIDE EDITION reports.
There was chaos in Berkeley, California.
Hundreds protesting the recent police shootings took over the streets and shut down a busy interstate highway. Twelve lanes of traffic were at a standstill. Motorists during the evening commute were backed up for miles.
One woman driving home found herself trapped in the chaos and went into labor.
On the call, 911 said, "I have a female in labor stuck in traffic. She's going to be in a beige Tahoe."
Paramedics managed to locate her and transfer her to the hospital where she was said to be ok.
Other protesters laid down on the train tracks, bringing an Amtrak train to a halt.
Across the country in New York, protesters converged on the Barclays Center in Brooklyn where the Royal couple took in a game.
The protesters chanted, "I can't breathe."
They laid down in the street, staging a die-in.
