The stars of YouTube went to The White House for a sit down with the Commander-In-Chief. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
GloZell Green is one of YouTube’s biggest stars. She is known for her off-the-wall antics like taking "The Cinnamon Challenge" and hopping into a bathtub of milk and Fruit Loops.
Now, she's getting the opportunity of a lifetime by sitting down with the president for a one on one interview. She sure did make an impact.
She told President Obama, “So, I have green lipsticks. One for your first wife.”
The surprised president responded, “First wife? You know something I don't.”
“Oh! For the first lady and the first children. I'm so sorry,” she replied.
GloZell was just one of three YouTube stars who got the chance meet with the president. It's part of an effort by The White House to connect with a younger audience.
You may recognize 19-year-old Bethany Mota from Dancing with the Stars. She's also a huge YouTube celebrity with eight million subscribers who tune in for her lifestyle tips.
She asked the president “If you had any superpower what would it be?”
“I would like to be able to speak any language,” he replied.
And YouTube personality Hank Green with two-and-a-half million subscribers, proudly calls himself a "nerd."
He told President Obama, "I am only going to get one shot at this. I don't think I am going to get a lot of chances to interview the president. So, I am going to jump right in and start grilling you."
Obama responded, "Go for it!"
There was only one thing left to do after The White House interviews were over and that was to take an epic selfie!
