Kanye West was up to his old antics when he raided the Grammy stage and almosted interrupted Beck's Album of the Year acceptance speech. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
Kanye West struck again!
The rapper stormed the stage and almost interrupted the biggest award of the night as winner Beck was about to give his acceptance speech.
Beck beat out Beyoncé for the Album of the Year, prompting Kanye to take the stage - just as he did when he interrupted Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMA’s.
Back then, Kanye took the mic from Swift and said, “I'm a let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!”
This time, Kanye held back and returned to his seat. Beyoncé could be seen mouthing "no Kanye, no” and Jay Z's stunned look said it all!
So, was Kanye being serious? He wasn't apologizing at a Grammys after-party where he said, “Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé.”
Al Roker really took Kanye to task. He said, “Shut up and sit down! Shut up and stop!”
INSIDE EDITION caught up with Beck at the Universal Music party and he was surprised about his win, saying, “I don't know how that happened.”
The show was a night of unforgettable performances.
Country singer Miranda Lambert showed off her slimmed down figure in leather!
Madonna proved she's still got it performing in a skimpy costume at age 56!
It was also a night of powerhouse collaborations. Paul McCartney rocked out with Rihanna and Kanye.
The elusive Sia stayed true to form hiding her face throughout her performance, with her back turned to the audience the entire time, and Kristen Wiig as one of her backup dancers!
On the red carpet, Sia was still hiding under a giant white wig, and she wasn't the only one turning heads.
INSIDE EDITION has got all the fashion hits and misses covered at the Grammys.
Rihanna hit the red carpet in a bright pink gown. Entertainment reporter Suzanne Marques told INSIDE EDITION, "I loved Rihanna's gown. She wore the gown for the occassion, she wore a bright pink ruffled dress that just went out like a cake topper, and she owned it!"
Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé, and Kim Kardashian were all in a contest of how-low-can-you-go with plunging necklines.
Madonna's outfit sure missed the mark.
Marques also told INSIDE EDITION, "Madonna is an icon. She can get away with wearing anything and I think that is what she did tonight. She looked a little bit like a matador."
Pharrell made his own fashion statement in an outfit that made him look like a bellhop. He also slipped in a political statement. He and his backup dancers, in hoodies, raised their arms as a "hands up don't shoot" protest message. Beyonce's backup singers made the same gesture.
The night belonged to soulful singer Sam Smith, who took home four big awards, including Record of the Year. The openly gay singer said the statues for his breakup ballad "Stay With Me" are sweet revenge. When winning the award, Smith said, “I want to thank the man who this record is about and I fell in love with last year. That you so much for breaking my heart because you got me four Grammys."
