The man behind the barbaric ISIS butcherings was once only known as ‘Jihadi John.’ Now his identity has been revealed, and it may surprise you.
The face of evil now has a name.
The world's most wanted terrorist, Jihadi John, is now identified.
The ISIS butcher who speaks with a British accent in the barbaric beheading videos that have shocked the world is Mohammed Emwazi.
Here's what we now know about him. He is 27 years old. He was born in Kuwait but moved to London when he was six with his family, and he graduated from the University of Westminster with a degree in Computer Programming.
He lived in a pleasant London home and his family is reportedly well-to-do.
Jihadi John is seen on video beheading American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff. Others he beheaded include two Japanese hostages.
Former FBI Agent Manny Gomez told INSIDE EDITION, "Now that they've identified him, they can take a really, really hard look at who this person is. Flesh out everything including and up to why he joined ISIS and why he is the way he is."
The brutal videos were praised by those three accused terrorist wannabes who the FBI says hatched a plot inside a Brooklyn apartment building.
The 24-year-old suspect and the 19-year-old suspect lived behind the door of an apartment in Brooklyn, New York. And, it was there where they allegedly planned to launch a terrorist attack on the U.S. and President Obama, all in the name of ISIS.
One video was just posted by ISIS. It shows the destruction of antiquities in Iraq that are 3,000 years old.
Why would anyone want to join these madmen?
