After Adele first acknowledged her relationship with Simon Konecki in 2012, the couple has kept private about their life together.
Adele and Simon Konecki first said "hello" more than seven years ago — and now they're saying "goodbye."
“Adele and her partner have separated,” the singer's representative told the Associated Press in a statement. “They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy."
The "Hello" singer addressed her relationship with Konecki for the first time in a January 2012 blog post, People reported. She gave birth to their son, Angelo, in June 2012.
Since then, the couple has kept private about their family life. In a 2016 interview with Vanity Fair, she called Konecki "perfect" and said the relationship was the most serious she had ever been in.
Adele acknowledged she had married Konecki when she accepted the album of the year Grammy in 2017, thanking "my manager, my husband and my son." She said they're "the only reason I do it."
Konecki is the co-founder of Life Water, the AP reported. A representative for the businessman could not be reached by the outlet.
