This time, she left her controversial jacket at home.
The first lady hit the road again Thursday to visit another immigration camp, but this time she skipped the controversial outerwear.
Melania Trump was comfortably casual, wearing sneakers, white pants and a black sweater.
"There was so much anticipation about what she might wear – would she be sending another message? What we saw was she chose to be pared down. It feels like her team really wanted to put the focus back on the cause and what she was doing instead of her outfit choice," fashion expert Brooke Jaffe told Inside Edition.
When the first lady landed in Tucson, Ariz., she met with Border Patrol agents and thanked them for “all you do.”
She then toured a holding facility for detained illegal immigrants.
The first lady also had a private briefing at an intelligence center at the facility, according to reports.
“She’ll continue to give her husband her opinion on what her thoughts are on family reunification,” Melania's spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham told reporters traveling with the first lady on her plane.
Grisham said that the goal of the first lady’s visits is to urge Congress "to fix our broken immigration system."
“She recognizes it's a complex issue," Grisham added. "She definitely believes in strong border laws. She wants to make sure the kids are well taken care of."
