The number "666" was scrawled on the top of the car.
Two shooters were overpowered as they fired at classmates at STEM School Highlands Ranch in Colorado Tuesday, according to police.
Cops Say Devon Erickson, 18, and an underage accomplice opened fire at the school, killing one and injuring eight others.
Erickson appeared in school musicals and seemed popular, but he apparently had a dark side too. His car was spray-painted with the words “F*** Society," and on the roof were the numbers 666 and a pentagram.
Inside Edition found a disturbing post on Erickson's Facebook page that read, “You know what I hate? All these Christians who hate gays.”
The first report of gunfire came from a student who called 911 saying, “I see a just bunch of kids running out and saying, 'School shooter! School shooter!'”
Police were on scene within two minutes.
Kendrick Castillo, 18, is being hailed a hero. He was shot to death as he reportedly confronted Erickson. With his help, a couple of other students were able to pin Erickson to the ground and end the carnage.
Another hero is 18-year-old Brendan Bialy, who risked his life to overpower the shooter. Bialy is in a Marine Corps pre-training program.
The emotional images of children once again traumatized by a school shooting are touching hearts across America.
Images of teachers and students with their hands up, anxious parents waiting for news and poignant reunions have been circulating after Tuesday’s attack.
The school is only 7 miles from Columbine High School, where 13 people were killed by two teenage gunmen 20 years ago last month.
