Aretha Franklin died Thursday at 76.
Ariana Grande belted out Aretha Franklin's "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” on “The Tonight Show” Thursday to pay tribute to the late soul singer.
Grande was hesitant because she was afraid she might get emotional, according to reports.
On “The Late Show,” host Stephen Colbert paid tribute to Franklin by playing her entire blockbuster Kennedy Center Honors performance from 2015, which Colbert hosted.
During her performance, President Barack Obama wiped a tear from his eye as Franklin sang.
At the Apollo Theater in Harlem, crowds danced and sang under the marquee, which featured a simple epitaph in tribute to Franklin.
In Brooklyn, New York, fans of the superstar showed their respect and love by turning the Franklin Street subway stop into the “Aretha Franklin” stop.
On Thursday night, singer Bryan Adams, speaking from the opening of the Broadway musical “Pretty Woman,” told Inside Edition that one of the highlights of his career was when Franklin sang one of his songs.
“Aretha cut one of my songs back in 2006 called ‘Never Gonna Break My Faith’ and my thoughts are with her family and all the fans. What a loss to music. What a voice. One of the highlights of my career,” he said.
More of Franklin’s final days is being learned from her ex-husband actor Glynn Turman, who said his goodbye on Monday.
"She did know I was there and she looked and said, ‘Glynn, Glynn is here.’ We made eye contact and it was great," he told Inside Edition. "I grabbed her wrist, which was mostly skin and bone, and I could feel her pulse and her pulse was so strong."
Turman and Franklin were married for six years.
She passed away from advanced pancreatic cancer at early Thursday.
