The airline called the boy their “youngest customer to date” after his mom gave birth on a nearly three-hour flight from Puerto Rico to Fort Lauderdale.
One baby boy’s life started out on a high as his mother gave birth during a JetBlue flight.
The airline called the boy their “youngest customer to date” after his mom went into labor on a nearly three-hour flight from Puerto Rico to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Friday.
The airplane was coincidentally named “Born to Be Blue."
“Giving storks a day off. With mom’s okay, we’d like to rename 'Born To Be Blue' after our newest baby blue and our youngest customer ever. More baby shower gifts to come! #AirBorn” JetBlue tweeted about the birth.
Mom and baby are reportedly both doing well.
"We’d like to thank the crew and medical professionals on board for their quick action under pressure, and wish the new mother and son all the best," Jen Dang, a spokesperson for the airline, told USA Today.
