The star gave an emotional performance at the ACM Awards.
Sunday's ACM Awards featured the highly anticipated return of Carrie Underwood, and her performance onstage was one of the biggest moments of the night.
It was the 35-year-old’s first time on stage since she fell outside her Nashville home earlier this year. In January, she revealed she required "40-50 stitches” on her face and also broke a wrist in the fall.
On Sunday, however, there was no sign of the scar.
Underwood wore glittery eye makeup shaped like tears while singing her song "Cry Pretty.”
Following the performance, the crowd gave Underwood a standing ovation which lasted nearly a minute.
"My wrist is almost back to normal, about 90 percent there ... and the docs say that last 10 percent will come in time. And my face has been healing pretty nicely as well," Underwood wrote on her website last week. "I definitely feel more like myself than I have in a while."
While many complimented her on her performance, the singer’s toned legs set Twitter on fire.
“If I could have Carrie Underwood's legs, my life would be complete,” was one comment.
Later in the show, Underwood changed into a daring gown with toned-down makeup and there was still no sign of a scar on her face.
Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Marc Mani, who did not treat Underwood, took a look at the footage of her performance in Las Vegas.
"On the left side of the face you can see a little bit of a line,” he told Inside Edition. “You can see a little bit of a line right across her cheek. I think what this shows is that with the most modern techniques of closure of lacerations you can really make something invisible and makeup may have a little part of it as well."
The award show came more than six months after the deadly Las Vegas shooting during the Route 91 Harvest festival. The tragedy still weighs heavy on the hearts and minds of the country music community.
Security was stepped up on the red carpet.
“I'm here to celebrate and also support Vegas strong,” Nicole Kidman told Inside Edition.
Stars wore gold pins with the numbers 58 and 851, for the lives lost and to remember the injured, respectively.
Singer Jason Aldean, who performed at the festival, opened the ACM Awards.
