Makai's classmates were so happy to see him safe and sound after he was trapped in the Bahamas.
It was a group hug as Florida preschoolers were excited to see their little buddy.
The boy, Makai, found himself trapped in the Hurricane Dorian-ravaged Bahamas for weeks along with his mom, Tekara Capron.
“I've been through hurricanes but this one was absolutely, this was totally different. This is something unexplainable,” she told Inside Edition.
After a really rough couple weeks, 3-year-old Makai finally returned home to Pembroke Pines, Florida, and his classmates were elated.
“I was like, oh my god, these kids have some kind of sense that Makai was missing and something happened and something went wrong and we need to comfort him,’” his mother said.
