James Xuereb immediately burst into tears when he met his new Bichon Frise.
A father burst into tears as he was surprised with the news that he'd be getting a dog after two of his family's pets passed away.
Jaleen Xuereb, of Ontario, Canada, and her family presented her dad, James, with an early birthday card that explained he was about to meet Lumo, his new Bichon Frise puppy.
The pup was named after their two older Bichons, Nemo and Lucy. They had died of congestive heart failure within just two weeks of each other.
Before James could read the entire card, he could be seen bursting into tears in a video posted to Jaleen’s Facebook page.
“Hi, my name in Lumo and I am a boy Bichon. No, I am not Nemo, nor could I ever be Lucy, but my mommy brought me to bring you some happiness back into your life,” another family member read from the card.
Moments later, Jaleen’s mom handed him the new puppy.
“Hi my baby boy, hi baby boy,” James sobbed as he held his new pup.
